Mendoza, take II

From the desk of A rash:
(title to be explained by Katie tomorrow)

Wow! So much has been going on. So far I´ve had the chance to experience 3 wonderful countries with great friends. We are all safe and really enjoying our time here.

Things I have learned so far:
-"ferreteria" does NOT mean ferret store
-rosted peanuts taste way better the further South you go
-if you are thinking that dried bannana chips on a hot dog (with Mayo and Guacamole) sounds good, then you would be WRONG

It has been very interesting seeing dynamics of the current world political climate play out in the different countries we have been in. We walked right into a peace rally, criticizing US and Israeli actions. During this rally, we were Canadians.

Still on my search for South American bagpiping history, and hope to connect with some contacts in Buenos Aires when we get there.

Hope all is well with everyone :)
